What We Do
The Secret Ingredient is an outside kitchen based in the Secret Garden at The Overstone Arms - we sell breakfast items such as: Full English, Baps, Açaí Bowls, Pancakes and Loaded Toast. In the morning, a golden glow is cast over The Secret Garden, making it the perfect place to have a bite and share your mornings with those you love, rain or shine.
We also have bites on in the afternoon/evening, including: Pizza, Hotdogs, Jacket Potatoes, Sandwiches, Wraps, and of course we can't forget a crisp, summery Salad. They are the secret you need to truly unwind in the evening.
The hot weather can cause you to feel more hot and less hydrated, so why not cool off with one of our Iced Coffees, or perhaps an Iced Matcha is more to your liking? Either way, we have a large variety of syrups to add, including: salted caramel, vanilla, pumpkin spice and gingerbread!
Who We Are
On the surface, we are The Secret Ingredient, a summer pop-up kitchen hidden within The Overstone Arms, but beyond that? We are so much more.
Grace & Holly
Having grown up around the industry, they have an understanding of how the cogs of a kitchen function, and they thrive off of the taste of a challenge. This kitchen is formed from a joint effort, having been a project in the making for the last few months. With Grace's classic cooking and Holly's adaptive skillset, there's nothing these two can't face in the kitchen!
