Get ready for a show-stopping summer celebration as we proudly host our first ever Battle of the Bands at The Overstone Arms! With a fully equipped live stage, kindly provided to us from our friends at The Deco Theatre, the stage will be set up in our beautiful Orchard Garden car park, this promises to be a day to remember for all ages!
🎶 Headline Act: Similar Jones
We are thrilled to welcome Similar Jones to close the evening! A five-piece Midlands-based band with over 20 years in the music scene, they’ll bring the house down with a set packed with Classic Rock, Indie, Motown & Vintage hits. Expect a party atmosphere you won’t want to miss!
🏆 Want to Perform? There's Still Time!
Although we’ve named it “Battle of the Bands,” soloists, comedians, and all entertainers are welcome! If you’ve got talent and stage presence, we want to hear from you!
💷 Prizes:
- Winner: £200 cash prize + paid spot (£200) at our Bonfire Night (5th Nov) – past events have drawn up to 1,000 guests!
- Runner-Up: Slot at our 10-Year Anniversary Celebration for Philip & his family’s service to Northamptonshire hospitality (late August – date TBC)
- 🎶 Bonus: Opportunity for future summer gigs at The Overstone Arms!

🚗 Parking & Village Support
Our car park will be closed for the stage area, but we are hoping to arrange alternative parking in partnership with:
- Pytchley Endowed C of E Primary School
- Pytchley Cricket Club
- Pytchley Village Hall
🔹 £2 per car – all proceeds will support local organisations or their chosen charities.
